For our growing team we are looking for the next possible date for a

Head of Mechanical Cell Design (m/f/x)

Your tasks:

• You will lead a team of Article Engineers responsible for the various aspects of mechanical cell design (pouch, cylindrical, prismatic).
• You and your team are responsible for the development of new mechanical and electrical designs together with advanced technology
• You will manage the collaboration of your teammembers with the component suppliers
• You are responsible for the coordination of your team with process engineering and electrochemical cell design for the realization of the new cell design.
• You have to exploite the potential of the team and manage it accordingly.
• You will help shape the company's technology roadmap.
• You have to make sure that all relevant parties are in close contact with each other.

Your profile:

• A successfully completed Master's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering- a doctorate would be an advantage
• Experience in the mechanical design of lithium-ion cells
• Knowledge in scaling technologies to functional battery cells
• Fluent in English
• Communication, consulting, negotiation skills and persuasiveness are among your strengths
• Already coordinated and promoted interdisciplinary teamwork
• Computer skills (MS Office package, SAP)
• Proper in adequately using modern electronic data processing systems
