Team Lead FPGA/ System Architects (m/w/d)

We are looking for a
                                          Team Lead FPGA / System Architects (m/w/d)

in permanent position in Munich or Aschaffenburg

Major responsibilities:
  • Primary management interface and de-escalation for all product system related issues
  • Provides technical leadership in directing the efforts of the team and production release of all relevant engineering deliverables in compliance with the product development process and customer expectations
  • Works with managers and other team leads to improve development processes
  • Ensures engineering targets (quality, delivery timing, performance, engineering budget, etc.) 
  • Responsible for project planning (resources, timing)
  • In charge of appropriate technical supplier relationships for all key suppliers
  • Ensures proper engineering quote response is provided for new projects and engineering changes

Knowledge and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • Relevant experience regarding the Responsibility/ Activities (listed above) in serial development. Automotive electronic (mandatory)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in designing FPGAs/ASICs using VHDL or Verilog or Mixed HDL
  • Knowledge in implementing algorithms using an FPGA using modelling, software and hardware implementation and optimizing algorithms on an FPGA architecture
  • Know-how in image processing applications preferred

  • Experience of MS Office package (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of analysis and engineering tools such as version control/configuration management, UML tools, static code check tools
  • Work experience with CAN and LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI
  • Xilinx based HDL tool chain/ IDE
  • Industry accepted FPGA design qualification, schematic capture, simulation, testing and analysis tools
